Kinda getting back in and I'm not sure I understand low frequeny springs?

Think of it as happy springs vs sad springs. Happy springs go boing! boing! boing! And sad springs go THUD! Like for example if you drop a 25 cent super ball on the floor and it bounces all over your house. Then you drop a blob of cookie dough.

Low frequency = flatter spring curve. More coils for a given length means the metal bends "less" across the stroke length. This also means they are less resistant to bottoming.

LF are the "sad" springs.

Bit of googlefu, second page before I got to something not RC related, it's "low harmonic frequency", as in the frequency of oscillations of the spring is lower (so lover Hz), if spring hits its harmonic freq then it can do strange things like increasing or decreasing in length etc
