I enjoyed working on my engines & stuff as well. And true, I do hate soldering with a passion! Nitro car just require alot of maintenence & cleaning. I was actually thinking about getting back into it, but I talked myself out of it just because of the hassles that come with it.

I also race both,my racing has been 90% electric, just started racing nitro MT..it is alot of fun..but being an electric TC racer the "mess" of nitro off road is making me nuts(most electric TC racers are pretty much clean freaks..well the ones i race with.. )So every week i tear apart my trucks and clean them.. But i do so enjoy racing nitros.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Iam leaning towards likeing gas, alot better. I get tons of practice at the track (as I dont have to wait for a battery to charge), I dont have to buy $70.00 battery's. I get a lot more use out of a gas motor, than I do a electric motor.

I still run electric stuff, but I just seem to like gas better.
