I have run Traxxas Titans in my Slashes for over a year. They are still fast and reliable.

They do need to be cleaned and the bushings need a drop of oil occasionally.

I break them in in water or if in a hurry by running circles for a while.

As was stated in an early post, the fastest way to kill a motor is running in tall grass and with a pinion of 23 or more teeth.
