Weird, but then I have seen some people look at their RTR kits just like that after trying to race them, I'm talking on-road though, where some poor kid has just found out something not 'that' cheap is worthless once it hits a real racetrack.
Strangely, I have no issue with what he did in the video, it's the thinly held back aggression and pure violence of the end action I find disturbing...

He earned it, do with it what he wants. If that means throwing it against the wall, who cares
The less fortunate debate has no bearing here. If we all gave our expended income to the less fortunate, there would be no RC hobby. This guy knew if he did the video people were going to complain and watch - mission accomplished

Optimistic view
1. he'll have a change of heart and buy a new car from the shop/track next week. Profit for the shop and a "saved" participant.
2. He won't and this silly video will be the last anyone sees of him in this hobby.
I am surprised that the track employees would allow him to risk damage to their walls (leased?).

lol, goes to show you that you have to really beat the crap out of an associated car before it breaks. took him a few tries.
i'm surprised no one came up and said nothing to him. you don't need this crap at the track. you're there to enjoy the hobby.

Who cares what he does to the car.
Fact is, 99% of us have felt like doing that at least a once in our life. Some follow through with it.

I wouldn't do that but it's his, who cares.
Thread title is lame, unfortunate kids don't need R/C cars they need a warm bed and not to have to worry when they'll get their next meal.
