Default JConcepts Rulux wheels?

I need a new set of wheels for my b4 and was wondering about the rulux wheels. Why do you never see racers use them even those sponsored by JC?

Are the stock associated wheels better or lighter? My main concern is weight and strength then looks. Are the rulux wheels recommended?

The Rulux wheel works great and are super strong, but there are 2 reasons for the Team Drivers not running them:

-All of our drivers have made the switch to 12mm Hex front & rear (dish is the only option).
-Most of the drivers prefer the look of dish wheels.

I have a set for my SC10. Theyre very strong wheels, I've actually sheared the axle pin inside the wheel instead of stripping the wheel. They have an extra recess in the wheel in case you do damage one

Then why not use the 12mm Hex Rulux (JConcepts 12mm Hex Rulux Wheel
[JCI3332B]?

im not a pro but i run the rulux wheels (yellow) and love them. they look better after a few runs than the dish does. look better all around if u ask me. never had a wheel failure or tire debond concern.
stand out from the other cars and believe it or not i thinks i can see what the wheels are doing better than with dish.
b4.1 is my choice of cars. about to get into sc and i will run them there as well

The question was regarding a B4 buggy. We don't make rulux/hex wheels for buggies.

I ran the Relux wheels on my SC-10 with no problems. I just bought a set for my Losi Ten SCTE and all four of them where cracked after 2 weeks. Two others running this wheel at our track, also on the Losi 4X4, had all four of their wheels crack, one of them after only one raceday.

I know this question was regarding the B4, but I for one am not very happy right now. $50.00 worth of wheels and tires down the drain.
