Default I know there is no best battery.....

But I know there is good batteries. I have a Gens Ace 5000mah 40c 4s and I was never amazed by its performance. It has good punch for the first few minutes but after that the power continues to fade. The battery does have over 100 runs. What do yall use? I may get this battery again as it is good but I wanted to know my other options.

They are inexpensive in comparison to other brands. If you got over 100 uses out of it and your happy, you should probably buy another one.

for the price and performance that gens ace is about your best bet and if your a racer, keep in mind you should use the same battery because different brand wiegh different and will throw off your ride height etc...

Gen Ace lipos are good, but this subject is hammered to death, just do a search man and you'll find all the thoughts and opinions you want.

Try like a 7.4v 5800mah lipo. It depends on what you are willing to pay. I would say Lipo is the way to go.

I like pro-match racing batteries. They are not cheap, but not expensive either. I have accidentally and purposely overcharged a few of them numerous times, I have 2 that are on their third race season and still feel as punchy as the day I bought them. Not to mention, their support is top notch. I had a balance wire rip out of one. I sent it to pro-match and they repaired the battery and sent back free of charge.......

Their 50c battery out performs my venom 65c battery. At least in my case...

The above information is my opinion. I am by no means an expert.....
