Kyosho Double Dare - 1988ish..

Took about 15 yrs off and came back to a REVO 3.3... Since then it's been a whirlwind of cars and trucks until I've finally settled on the MP9 nitro/elec, STRR nitro, RB6 and just yesterday a T4.2...

Tamiya Grasshopper in the mid 80's. Followed by an RC10L, RC12L, and a Lynx 2 Elite, then when the onroad tracks closed, an RC10 Team Car (Graphite chassis and Stealth) and the first Kyosho Lazer 4wd (which was missing so many parts in the kit, that it took 3 months of back and forth to get all the parts for it).
Desoto Racing * Serpent America * Boca Bearings

My first rc car was a Radio Shack Lamborghini Countach that my grandma gave me for Christmas. Only went forward and then turned in reverse, so not too much fun. Followed that up with a Tyco Turbo Hopper and then onto my first hobby quality RC car; a Team Associated RC10 Graphite that I bought back in 1990. Still have the car, box and receipt.

Mine was a Turbo Hopper. Went through a couple of them, then got an FX-10.

First non-hobby grade rc was purchased from Tous R Us, Tyco Super Octane for Off Road and a Lambo Countach. First hobby grade was. Traxxas Rustler. First round was about 10 years ago, second round was the past year.

Traxxas Slash Platinum that I bought on a whim in a little over a month ago. Now I have a SC5M and a B6D on the way. This is going to get expensive!

Team Losi XX probably around 95 or 96. Came with a servo mounted speed control, bushings, telescoping style cvds. I put in the cr conversion, put in bearings, mip cvds, fast electronics, lunsford turnbuckles. Lots of time and upgrading over the years... Good memories.
