My first cars when it started for me in the 80's:
BoLink Eliminator pan car
RC10 (gold pan chassis)
Traxxas TRX-1
RC12L pan car

Just got back into the hobby ~6 months ago after ~25 years off, now have/had:
SC10RS RTR (gone)
Helion Dominus and Antimus (kids trucks)
Tekno SCT410 (mine)
Schumacher Cougar SVR (mine)

When I was younger, I had the time, but not always the money to play/race. Now I have the money, but not the time...funny how that changes as you get older.

Associated RC 12i, with mono shock front end. Funny that they called the mono shock kit an upgrade, because they stock front end worked way better...lol

Back in the day around 1989 I got a tamiya vanquish 4wd buggy for my birthday, I was hooked since then had a Koysho ultima buggy and a jrx pro se. Got out of the hobby for many years until I walked into the hobby shop and walked out with a 2wd slash instantly hooked again. I don't even want to go into how much I spent since I got the slash but I said screw it if I'm gonna do it I'm doing it right. Slash Is a basher and recently got a 22 22sct b4.1 wc sc10 4x4 Durango dex210 wow I just scared myself.

I was maybe 7 years old and I had an on-road Audi Quattro sports car for one of my first RC cars. As of today, I am 36 years old

Original Tamiya hornet, not the re-release. Must have been 1985, actually wore the gears out so many times I can't remember, front suspension arms too. Seems like I ran it from sun up to sun down. Good old days for sure. I've bought and sold so many cars since then, cant tell you how many I've had, Cars, Boats, Planes, love them all.

Mine was a Kyosho Raider 2WD Buggy. I had a Trinity Pink Monster Horsepower motor in it. I blew up the driveline VERY quickly.

I remember the car being very finicky on the speed controller (mechanical) and the servos always died. I remember battery packs lasting about 4 minutes as well.

RC has come a LONG way since then.
