Where to buy tamiya parts?

I have a wild willy 2 mod project and I need lots of spares from many different tamiya kits...where would be a good place to get tamiya parts? Most of the sites I've search dont' have very complete inventories...

Tamiya Wild Willy 2 Thread!

I'm suprised that we don't have any wild willy fans here? I just got my self a wild willy 2 for kicks today. I still remember that wild willy was my fav car when I was little...anyways...it's hella fun to just bash around! I was actually surprised that you can actually mod these things...and also paint them is cool too. Anyone on board with me here?

Both of my sons (6 and 3) have one. They have held up to the abuse very good.

Hey Gary,
The rollout of the Wild Willy is perfect for an 8 turn! Its freaking durable as heck and jumps well. Just get some bearings and some oil filled shocks.

Gary,
You might possibly try Steve Wang at Speedtech. He was able to add my request to his next Tamiya order. I got two sets of Wild Willy rear wheels for my TLT-1 as well as the TLT-1 carbon chassis. Just be prepared to give him specific part numbers.

thats what I plan to do! Oil shocks - bearings - and I was going to do that baja champ mod to extend the width of the car...

But I can't find the baja champ's arms anywhere!

Are you sure about 8 turn motor? Damn...the car will flip over 4 times before it gets going...lol...

Gary,
Wost case you can order from Tamiya America, but they will charge full retail + tax + about $11 shipping and handling. Might as well buy a Baha Champ kit.
The 8 turn...is just the right amount of power

Foam inserts in the tires help a lot too.

Dang..see I knew there are peeps out there still fond of wild willy! ...I gotta try teh 8 turn...hehe...I wasn't even planning on running that low of a turn in my evoIV! LOL...

What about titanium screws....waste of money on teh willy? I figure I might add a little weight in the front to keep it from flipping as much....kinda counter productive if I'm gonna get ti screws...to save weight..haha..

The thing I really want to get is the aluminum servo stay...but it's discontinued!!! Does anyone know where to get that part?
