I just picked up a T4.1 and I seem to have a problem...I keep breaking front body mounts.

Anyone else having this problem?

Don't crash!

:lol:Jesse are you racing stock or mod? And I've only broken one when someone stopped on the straightaway and didn't call it out

YankeeFan123 09-30-2012 08:44 PM

Put stock in it! Maybe you'll stop breaking:sweat: jk, plus stock races more

Ok maybe this has been covered...sorry if so. I have the RTR T4.1 and am doing some upgrading. One thing I want to get is CVDs...I think...or is it CVAs? So I'm seeing three kits on A-Main for this...MIP C-CVD, AE MIP CVD (are these the same? The images aren't.), AE FT SC10/T4 CVA

If you had the RTR and were going to upgrade it what would you do? I purchased the V2 threaded shocks with a full spring set...nice to see deals on these with the BBs coming out now.

Edit: Oh and I have part of a hex conversion...I bought a wheel lot for my B4.1 that came with a set of B4.1 JC hexes, so all I need are the axles and spindles and the correct wheels. I think I am going to make that change as the RTR tires are getting worn and I have no other wheels or tires for the T4.1 (it has been a basher).

Anyone?

I would definitely get the avid steering rack and do the BB mod with the Losi springs, unless you wanna drop the cash for the associated BB

Yea I'm running the Avid rack in my B4.1 so I suppose the answer is make the T4.1 like my B4.1 Worlds. But I guess I'm looking for the must dos since I have the RTR and not a FT.

So lets say an Avid rack, and their BB springs (also running those on the B4.1).

I know it is very new but I have been hearing good things on the Associated BB springs. You may want to try them instead of Avid or Losi

What is the difference between 17.5 (No timing) vs just 17.5? Can I use timing on the can for both classes, but for just 17.5 I can use timing on can and speedo?

must haves huh. CVA's, alum front pivot, ball diff

Yes, you need the front sc10RS hubs. JS is releasing hex axles very soon, that look to be better than AE's. I would wait on those.
