Basher's, Nice! That's a great place to run and the owner, Brian, is a great guy. Barcodes and Suburbs are the hit ticket on that track. The balder, the better on race nights when they wet it down.

You should come check out the track we just built in Delray. We race Sundays, and the track is open to the public Monday-Saturday for free.

Yup I love basher's. My bald Double Dees will grip on the straight and the turn after the table top but after that it just spins. Where in Delray is the track located? And is it indoor?

FYI: Use AE part # 9880 steering block, part #9881 Front axle and part #7369 roll pin, and you'll be bale to use stock rear wheels on the front of your truck.

And #4449 lock nut

I don't know what to say about that body except for it sure is different......

I appreciate that, cause that's pretty much what I was going for, something different.

I recently installed an aircraft motor in my truck. Man, is it awesome. It weighs an ounce less than the any other "standard" motor, and has an unbelievable amount of power. It was 90F outside, and after a 15min practice it was up to 160F. The book says that it's safe up to 220F. I couldn't be more pleased. The only thing I need is to get a smaller pinion so I can run a little higher voltage.

Outdoor and huge. It's located at the very end of Atlantic Ave, park is on the right. Check out our thread in the Florida Racing forum. Dirt Devils Offroad RC Club.

I run suburbs on all 4 corners at Bashers, the challenge is staying in the line because the track is so tight. If you concentrate hard on the line, you won't break traction. Also, slipper needs to be pretty loose.

For racing try using the shorty packs a lot less weight with more than ample run time. Associated makes a nice one:
https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c....pl?pn=ASC0306
Thunder Power
https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...THP38002SPR65B
Or full size Orion carbon pro 5500 or Thunder Power 5300
You can find larger capacity 2s batts but too heavy imho

Before I converted mine to an x-60, I was running the losi 3800 pretty much centered in the truck. Like Marc said it has plenty of run time. I can go 8 minutes for sure.

What hex adapters is everyone running? Also can they fit 22T hex's?

BigJohnRacing 05-29-2012 07:52 PM

The Air Plane motor was a great idea even has a built in fan right? What were speeds like?

The only person that Makes a Hex rim so far is DE Racing and they are not released yet.
They use the SC10 front/rear hex though

Friend is testing the rims and is running SC10 Jconcepts front/rear hex and it works well.

Nice work!
Do you think they made much difference in handling bumpy sections of the track?
