Get some more run time with it and learn how to drive it, ask your local racers what type of tires are good at your local track and look up the sc10 thread and also setup tips on ae's website and lastly have fun and enjoy this great hobby!

the number 1 tip anyone can ever give is

SLOW IS FAST

Which works right up to where it doesn't.

Practice, practice, practice. And when done, repeat. The person with the fastest truck doesn't always win. But if you drive smooth, and your setup is dialed you will be tough to beat.

I fully agree. I reduced my EPA to 60% and went faster. Smooth is fast
also bigger motors dont make you faster

Well with a 2wd anything roll into the turn and smoothly get into the throttle out of the turn basicly point and shoot driving that seems to be the fastest way with 2wd .

Get the right tires for your track and not crash than you will have a chance to win most of time or a finish in a top 3 or better. But go out and have fun and dont be a hothead racer on the driver stand :D

Practice also as much as you can if possible if not get the track early im still learning that one :D

remember not to laugh at the hot head either as that will screw up your driving.

Im doing the same. Picked up a 4.1 then an RC8Be. Both are WAY more fun than the SC. Faster and more agile. The truck is.....well.....a truck.

i drive 4wd buggy also, its not a problem its a truck, i just can't get to handle, prob my fault but its just to hard to drive it comfortable
