Default Gens Ace Battery

Hey guys,
Wondering how the gens ace batteries would be in a sc10 4x4. Would this be a good purchase? If not post what battery you think I should lean towards.

That battery should be ok but I would lean more towards the 50c for that application.

All around great battery for the money. Hard to beat dollar for dollar. I have about 6 gens ace lipos and all have been great.

those will work but. the best thing you can do is solder some real good 4mm bullets on to your speed control wires and run the bullet style lipos. i have had some of the gens ace 5000 mah 40c lipos for 1 season of racing and they did very well.i just won one of the new turnigy nanotechs 6000mah 65-130c from ebay also you may want to look into them also but is depends on your budget and how fast and how long you want to run

I run two Gen Ace lipos, 500040c and love them, I also have a Team Orion 6500 90c and would say that I am disappointed in it over the gen ace batteries, so ya, thumbs up on gen ace.

I run the 40c with a losi scb and a cc4600. The battery never gets hot or lacks punch.

Stick with the Gens Ace 40C or 50C if you can get it.

I would get a 6000mah pack or higher for the sc10 4x4. The brushless systems that are used in 4x4 SC eat up battery packs. If you drain your 5000 pack consistently to near empty levels, it will not last long.

The packs I'm currently looking at getting are the trinity Revtech.

These packs are 6500mah and 65c burst. They run about 110 each and should be perfect for the SC4x4. All I have to do now is get some cash together :P
