Default How to repair body?

At the track last night I noticed some people had what appeared to be fiberglass underneath the body, is their a special fiberglass to use for this? Basically I just want to stabilize the body.

Thanks

Many people use fiberglass drywall tape and shoe goo to reenforce the bodies .

First you lay down a layer of drywall tape , then squeeze out some shoe goo and spread it around to form a thin layer over the drywall tape .

BTW you can find the drywall tape at any hardware store or building supply store , one roll will do many bodies .

The best way to repair a lexan body is with dry wall mesh tape and shoogoo.
You are better off to reinforce the damage prone areas prior to running the body.

Just make sure you get the mesh drywall tape. The other thing instead of sho-goo, is a two part expoxy. I have also seen people use tiger hair for auto body repair.
