Default BL e-maxx pinion Q???

Ordered a BL system from hobbypartz for my 3906 E-maxx.. CAN I just throw one of the pinions off one of my titans on my new BL motor?? And still run the factory spur? It is a 380 can.. I really can't do much homework on it while I'm offshore... Want to make sure I have everything I need when I get home and start putting it together... It's a 1/10th system that isn't going to have heartstopping power... Just enough to entertain me.. Haha.. So please help guys.. Thanks...

A 380 sized motor will not be enough for a emaxx it will overheat very fast. They don't make a small enough pinion for a 4300 kv motor. You need at least a 550 brushless but bigger would be better. 380 sized motors are for 1/16th and smaller. You need something in the 2600 kv range or lower.

Yep, the Maxx is too much of a pig for anything smaller then a 550 can, and even then you still want the larger 1/8th scale motors. The little 380 just won't be able to push around the bulk of the E-Maxx.

Well then I'll just order some different motors for it... Why do they make a "reverse turn" Titan??? Both turn the same way in an E-maxx if my geometry/physics is right??? What is the purpose in the reverse rotation Titan???

They where made for the older emaxx when the motors where mounted on opposite sides. You really need to do some research before you buy things.

Don't make the the mistake of going all aluminum it will just make it heavier and cause heat issues. I have a t maxx nitro and need that and had to put a bigger motor just to make as fast as a stock one, plus aluminum bends and has to be replaced for more $$$ not worth it.

school is in session so just sit down and shut up. the emaxx never had motors mounted on opposite sides of each other, the Brushed E-Revo on the other hand does

Well, I was looking at the Tamiya Super Stock 23t... Read reviews on these.. Although they are 540 motors, they are reported to be very torquey... And for the snappy comment above, I'm doing my homework the best I can.. But everything I'm doing is from my iPhone while i'm offshore working... So bear with me guys... Should I just order a new set of titans?? Or give the Tamiya motors a run???

Sorry if you think I was being rude. Just go with the stock motors until you can afford a good 1/8 scale brushless system that way your aren't wasting money on something that might not work.

Well I ordered the Tamiya motors just for the fun of it... Figured I'd try these motors.. I could not find a single bad review on them.. Just statements on how much torque they had with "decent" top-end speed... When I get back home and get everything installed, I'll let y'all know... Also have some things to do with my Evaders... Busy Busy when I get home!!
