Default WAAYY OFF TOPIC BUT...i have SERIOUS question.

Well short course is my thing thats for sure, im an associated 2 and 4 wheel drive lover. But christmas is coming up, My little nephew has been bugging me to buy him an R/C battle tank. It needs to shoot airsoft bb's! where in the helllllll do i even start? i dont want to spend a lot either, i mean hes only 5. BUT! i do want this thing to be able to handle lipos? is there such thing? please help a brotha in need!

There's a dozen on google... Haven't found one over 9.6V tho... They either shoot BB's or Airsoft pellets...

yeah man ive been looking them all up, it makes me want one for my self! so if its 9.4v would i be able to run a 7.4v lipo? or it doesnt really work that way huh?

Doubt the electronics in these things could handle Lipo... Even so you would have to put a Lipo cut-off in it... NOT WORTH UR TIME!!! Besides, the one I saw came with battery & charger... Not my cup-o-tea.. But neat little machines...

I believe hobbyking has them, but at this point christmas is pushing it unless it's in the US warehouse.
