I got to see that Hot Bodies truggy perform recently. All I can say is that after seeing those two vehicles go, It would be on the top of my list. it flat out handles.

I've also heard nothing but good things about the Stadium Pro. The owner of 2 hobby shops who also runs a dirt oval, an offroad course and cement oval has 2 of these and he says they rain crap on everything else. I've seen these run and I'm getting one. I'll be replacing the steering servo with the Airtronics 94358 (200 oz. @ 0.10 sec.) and installing a Novarossi 421B with Mugen aluminum clutch and Mugen 1.1mm springs. Also replacing the receiver with a Novak XXtra synthesized unit for my JR XS3 Pro. Should spank everything else in it's class.

As I said "in it's class". It's not in the same class as 1/8 scale buggies. Instead, many tracks let it run in the monster truck class or in the truggy class. In those 2 classes it "clean house".

The vehicles I saw the HB truggy go against were GS storms unlimited truggy, Losi Monster, AE MGT, and HPI Savage. I think there was a kyosho truggy there too but not sure.

Basically the first two HB truggies came across the line, then a pause, then the rest of the pack came.

I was pretty impressed too. Its amazing how well that vehicle handles.

Personally, I would probably get the Pro and sell the aluminum arms as when you bend them, thats the end of that. better just to break the plastic so you know its broke.

Great vehicle though!

If you bend the arms on the Lightning stadium pro you would also have some major damage.. I own one and it's THE most fun I have ever had racing.. On the motor..If you race on a small to medium track it's fine,I would run it till it needs rebuilding and then get an RB .28.But I would get the Pro,the reason why is the Pro has "the good" stuff,it's alot cheaper to replace the arms than to up grade to the Pro.I have found that The HB does not really like bow tie 40's..if you crash it WILL tear your truck up.Overall the Lightning Stadium Pro is alot better than the other truggeys that are out right now.All I have done to mine is up graded the radio system(M8) and motor(peak .28)and pipe. With all the mods I have done I still have less in this truck than I do in my TC..
