LRP - Quantum 2

I just bought a LRP - Quantum 2 comp speed O.. I'm running a xxx bk2 with a 11+2 peak motor.. And I don't have that good of brake.. When I fly down the str8t there is a 180 at the end by brakes work and if I hit them to hard I will spin out.. So I know the brakes work there.. But when I get some air and try and get the front down I got nothing like I have no brakes at all in the air.. I let some else drive my car and they said some thing is wrong , but he is running a Novak and told me to buy a speedo... :flaming: So far I love the Speedo. Just need some more brakes in the air.

Question I got it new from the my hobby shop with no manual. They told me to run a dioed with 2 wires hanging out of it like the one that come with the Gt7 So I got one. is there anything else I need to install it ? any info would be great ...Please help Thanks Guys...

Here's a link for a downloadable manual. It's for the original quantum, but it'll work. We just set up my buddies quantum II with it. The brakes have to different settings. Yours is probably on the wrong one. I suggest download and print the manual. Look in the part called "speed secrets" for how to program it.

have you held the car in your hand with it revving and put the brakes on then?

it should stop the wheels pretty quickly

yes it does stop the wheel when I hit the brakes in the air ..
