They should shock the world and release a no-compromise race oriented 1/10 2wd buggy kit.

I think all the rumors and statements, from supposed employees, are meant to be misleading. I will not say i know what they will produce, But i'll say what i'd like to see or what by their M.O., What i think might be coming.

First off, I don't see a 1/5 scale, Either gas or electric. Too expensive to make and too expensive for the average Joe to purchase, especially in this economy.

I see the possibility of the SCB, Possibly off the slash form and possibly both 2wd and 4wd. That would be in keeping with the M.O. of re-hashing of current platforms. I also see the possibility of the Motocross bike, But you don't see much of them, even though there are three out there, Venom, hobbyking, and the one from europe (not sure of the name).

I'd like to see a new ST based off the Jato platform, Kind of cool If they could do mid and rear motor on the same chassis, Like Losi.

I will say the ultimate buzzkill would be to Hype a 4x4 rustler, where they just change the body and wheels. It would be cool, but the equivalent of Tamiya hyping their site upgrade. That went very badly, Hope Traxxas is paying attention. They need something everyone can afford and ground breaking as well

but over talking to my friend, owner of a LHS...we strongly believe its gonna be a 1/8 scale buggy....it they havent had a buggy..so how knows..but im itching to know.

I'm hoping it will be a electric 1/8 buggy...maybe they got inspired by the guy who made his own custom revo buggy that was on this thread, I hope so!

It's always fun to speculate and you guys have a LOT of good points!

BUT, here's a thought - are any of those things worth the expected $1,000 price point????

Traxxas spends a LOT to be able to reach, reach out and GRAB folks not already involved in our hobby....

Mentally, I'm still in the 1/5th scale area.....

Historically I'm seldome right!!!!

I'm guessing this new car is going to be available in 1/10 and 1/5 scale... So therefore I'm going to go with Truggy... But I think if it's a 1/5 scale truggy it wont be available in 1/5 it would be 1/8... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Whatever it is I expect to be completely underwhelmed, especially if it is 1/5.
