i blew a bearing in the rear of my slash 4x4 over the weekend and had none on hand to replace it. sunday night i placed an order for 2 full bearing kits with 2 day shipping so i'd have them by the long weekend. yesterday they informed me there was a shipping error and my order went out usps ground instead of 2-day, apologized for the error and are over-nighting me my complete order so i can have them by my expected delivery date.

in todays market customer service is absolutely critical and having a company fix their error, apologize for it and not make up some excuse is a rare find.

they've earned themselves a new lifetime customer, just by doing the right thing.

AVID is the best and David will email you if there is any issues or potential issues and help resolve them. Also their bearings and diff balls ROCK!!

It's really wierd because when I e-mail a question, get this, he answers it. Avid is awesome and the products are top notch.

I also placed my first order from them recently, and while I had no problems so I could "test" their service, the shipping and communication was great! Even texted me when my order shipped.

Definitely a repeat customer here!

Maybe I'm a victim of some circumstance, but I recently placed an order for some bearings and they sent me the wrong bearings. Then when I tried contacting them (email), I get no response. I've tried several times now, and hear nothing back, and here I am with a buggy I can't drive, and bearings that don't fit. :-/

Hopefully next week will be more productive than this past one.

i have had to use there service once and it was down right astonishing. Not only did they send me what was missing from my bearing kit they sent me a whole other bearing kit

Give David a chance. He may be out racing somewhere in the middle of nowhere and out of touch. There have been times where it took a few days to hear back from him.
