Default Thinking about getting a setup station but...

...do I really need one?! Why cant I take some measurements of someone that has his car setup and be done with it?! You know, from ball link to ball link?! Just a thought?!

Camber gauge, ride height gauge and maybe a toe gauge are all you really need. Very very few people use an actual set-up station for off-road.

good to know...However, could you still measure those via digital clippers or so?!

Measure what? toe, yes some use them if they are big enough to span the front tires. Not sure about measuring camber links from car to car. Too many variables. Camber and height gauges are relatively cheap really, especially compared to a set-up station.
