Diff Problem On The Kyosho Mp 777
 
I WAS GONNA BUY THE 777 FOR MYSELF FOR XMAS UNTIL A FRIEND TOLD ME THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THE DIFFS,THEY ARE LEAKING OIL VERY BAD....AND THAT THE PLASTIC IS NOT TOO GOOD...ANY IDEAS?THANKS CHOCO

Umm, did your friend remember to put the orings in? lol. IMO, kyosho diffs are the best in the business, and when built right, will go for a very long time compared to other brands. I use the tamiya diff gear grease on my orings and outdrive shafts, and mine will go easily 2 months of racing without a drop of oil leaked. I love 'em.

my 777 diffs don't leak. hmm, if i remember correctly, the first mp7.5s that came out had diff screws that was too short and would loosen over time causing the diff to leak badly. maybe check if he has the correct screw and gasket installed.

There has not been any problems with those diffs, the normal cause of this is improper construction of the diff.
