which size batt/kind?

hey guys, im going to be running a FTb4 with a tekin RS and tekin 10.5t motor. the original plan was to get the gens ace 40c 2s 5000mAh batteries, but they are out of stock and i dont want the direct connect ones that are in stock.

What would be safe to run in the car without being too much? Looking around, other than turnigy, which i wont be buying, i havent seen anything with similar specs, i was going to stick to 40c or 50c, but idk what mAh will be too much

Well as far as mah I wouldnt go lower then 5000.
I run thunder power 5300mah 65c 2s batteries and really like them.
Downfall is they are $120 but you are paying for name and reliability.
They pack a lot of punch.

I was gonna go gens ace to but with out of stock for months and the risk of blown cells, i think I will stick american.

If you are willing to wait a couple more months im sure you will be happy with them if no bad cells show up.

Just my $3.26 worth

yeah my dad has 3 gens ace packs and they seem to be good, i have read of some not being good though and id be willing to take the risk. I wasnt sure if 6000mah would be too much or not. I have everything i need now, to finish my build and get my car running, aside from batteries, and gens ace seems to disregard me anytime i try and see if they know when they are going to be in stock.
