Sorry, I don't think it will ever happen either. They are only going to develop what they run there in the UK, and I don't think they run ST at all.

i agree. but i have to wonder if they're on Hobbico's agenda now? i wouldn't rule it out, especially if they become "americanized"

its possible, but with them being sold, i don't see it in the short term.

also, i wonder how Gerd feels about this? especially after being combined with Armma.. thats like Dynamite to Losi. hard to be serious about racing when your putting out toys
They weren't combined with Arrma because of the buyout, they were owned by the same company from the start. As many companies have already shown, having an RTR brand within the market is a solid business strategy. RTRs sell more than kits and ultimately increase a company's ability to develop their dedicated racing platforms. I see the buyout as being nothing but positive- increased distribution and easier access to working capital to increase parts production.

the states plays a huge roll on all RC manufactures. With the losi 22t, st class has blow up in my area and im sure in others as well. I'm running a t4.1 now and many that thing is dialed... when ever the dex210t comes out, i will for sure get it! can't wait!

Same in my area. 22T was released and first race day with them was two classes of mod truck.

If Durango ever decides to make a 210T, which wouldn't be that hard, all the parts are already there, it will definitely be on my pre-order list.

It's not a matter of if, it's when. Look at their 2wd sc. I'm sure people were saying they will never make a 2wd sc.

I know in Region 2 on the east coast, ST is dead and not even a class at most tracks anymore. I think it's a west coast thing.

that east coast thing must stop at Ohio then because we had a resurgence on STs after the 22T as well

Nearly half the entries at this are SC and they are six times more than ST. The only place we see them throughout the year is at this race. Here are the numbers for Motorama which is normally the biggest race in the Northeast:

Here are the class breakdowns:
NOVICE = 15
2WD STK = 35
2WD MOD = 69
STK TRK = 11
MOD TRK = 43
4WD BUGGY = 43
STK SC = 57
MOD SC = 78
4WD SC = 154
SCB = 9
1/8TH XPERT = 52
1/8TH INTER = 50
TRUGGY XPERT = 16
TRUGGY INT = 12

Stadium Truck is the 2nd biggest class at my local track, The Plex in Omaha, NE. A lot of drivers tried buggy, but switched to ST as they are easier to drive. I would much rather see a ST over SC, and I think most that have been racing a while would agree.

it's too easy for TD to make a stadium truck, especially since the desc210r will be out on top of the extended dex210 chassis. think about it. all you need is the extended chassis with the SC arms and you have a stadium truck. Boom! there you go! And im sure from the sales of the 22t, that's all the incentive TD needs. I am seeing 22t all over the place here in so cal! It makes nothing but sense! I was saying the same thing about Apple iphone going 3G on Verizon networks... It just makes sense! My calls all almost always right!

I have to agree. While short course looks cool, it doesn't cut it in terms of performance. I would rather see st take off than 2wd sc. 4wd sc is ok, but why not save the money and just run st or 2wd buggy? They handle better lol!
