Yup, sold my other cars back in November and put up a pre-order for the EXO. Unfortunately since then I've sort of lost interest. So I cancelled my order the other day when I saw the date pushed back again. Having more fun with other hobbies at the moment.

This looks like the next best thing in SC4x4. Has any body tried putting a SC body on it. Can it be ran with out the roll cage???

Why would you want to? I think you could put an sc body on it with some customizing, but it looks like the cage provides a bunch of structural integrity for the car, mainly the bumpers.

You will need the cage for sure if racing with the full-bodied 4wd sc trucks. If you are just bashing you could probably go with out the cage but, what would you hold the body on with? Also, it keeps the chassis from flexing as much.

Basically what I'm saying is I would like to run a different SC4x4 other than a Losi, traxxas or AE. It looks like it has good chassis braces and the chassis is 4mm. All it would need is body posts and front and rear bumpers. The design looks like a winner as long as the quality holds up.

You'd have to fab up some sort of rear shock tower, the rear shocks mount in the cage.

I wouldn't take a ride as cool as the EXO and cover it up with a body that makes it look like everything else.

It hasn't seen dirt yet, it's driving me nuts. I was going to drop it at the Cabin Fever two weeks ago but the track was huge and practice didn't give me any time to mess with it.
