Default Very Quick Question Regarding Charger w/Dual Capability

Hi guys,

I'm sure in this sea of RC knowledge my question is somewhere to be answered, but I'm pressed on time tonight and would love some direction.

I'm thinking about getting a 1/8th scale monster truck. I'll need to run it off of dual LiPo's (2-2s's). I want to get my boy a Stampede as his first truck. So I'll need that charge to charge NiMh as well.

So a charger that can do 2 batteries at once of a LiPo nature and can charge NiMh's. I have a power supply (junsi 350W) if your recommended charger requires one. I'm just looking to keep this as inexpensive as possible.

Thanks.

i use the protek prodigy 610 duo charger and have been very happy with it. hitec makes a rebadged version of the same charger. hyperion also makes dual chargers but i'm not familiar with them.

I own a Hyperion DUO, DUO II and DUO III. They are by far the best chargers I have ever used. The are very reliable and can charge anything you need.
They are also easy to use and to change between the different memory settings.

I also agree Hyperion is the top of the line and I love my DUO II but they are pretty expensive as well .

That Protek charger RC*PHREAK listed is decent and has been put out by several manufacturers , here is a link too the Venom model .......

I bought 2 of the single version of this charger before the dual version came out.. plenty of power and the price isn't bad.
