You mean rates? The silvers would be the medium stiffness springs that come in the kit. 4.3lb/in front and 3.55lb/in rear. A lot of people like the blue Kyosho springs. They fall right between the silvers and the stiffest springs that come with the rc8.2 spring kit.

I just put the blue associated springs on with 35f/30r oils and 1.3 pistons. Havent ran it at the track yet but it feels pretty good, a little more responsive.

When is the e-conversion coming out?

What do yall think about associated following the trend and going with pillow balls?

I was kind if hoping AE would be the inovators rather than followers. Im not a brand fanatic or pureist in the slightest, but Im still buying associated as long as they keep there price point lower than the competition and parts availability at my LHS.

Yeah I would say so. Is the ring and pinion still good? or is it just the bearing that got chewed up?

I would replace both, they both show heavy wear. You could shim it tight, but I would replace

I apologize if this is a double post but a search for LED and lights came up with nothing.

I do some semi often night oval running. There are overhead lights but I want to get a few added to the car just to see it better in the dim spots. Can anyone recommend some that works well with this (Awesome) buggy?

I got the car up and running last night, the bearing had thrown a few bals, but both gears were good once cleaned, Wonder how they held up, lots of metal spoon inside.. Took it to the local track and raced a mp9e that were popping Axels left and right... whats With those cars and Axels..

I lost my steering Block bushing and screw for not paying attention once changing packs.. it had backed out so I lost it on the other run . Other than that I had a blast ..

I have lost about 5-6 of those steering bushings and screws. I even installed the FT steering knuckles (even though I didn't think that would fix that). It is always the same one too.

Would love to get some feedback on shock tuning for this track ( video link)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIcWi74Qs7Q

any shock pistons 'hop op' I should pick up to fit the FT shocks I'm running on my rtr.
Running FT shocks ( With included piston) With Kyosho LB springs 35 oil as of now .

it feels tad nose Heavy( With the rb7000mah pack) and would like to try and get the back part les jumpy over the smal bumps

thanks

Can anyone recommend some good bodies for the car? The kit one is nice but I was wanting something with a little more of a unique look to it.

I have just about every FT part installed on my 8.2e rtr. None of the electronics are original either. I have been running this thing for several months. I still can't seem to get it dialed in right. It seems loose a in and out of turns and when I try to get on it after straightening out, the rear end break loose and the car gets squirrly. I feel like I am on ice skates and drift racing almost all the time.

My track is medium traction, tight, outdoor...

My diff are 5/5/5 right now. Someone told me to try and change the front diff oil to 7K. I have a couple extra diffs. I put 7K in one of them but, haven't installed it yet.

Any other ideas of what I can do to get this thing dialed in?

I run 5/5/3 in mine with 4* of rear toe. What esc are you running maybe you need to calm the punch down.
