I preordered one through Amain, I'd like to purchase a body to get to the painter so it's done before the buggy arrives. Anyone happen to know what Jcon illuzion punisher body they are putting in this kit? Looks like they offer one for the 8.2, RC8Be and the RC8. This is my first AE so I'm unaware if the dimensions are different or if they all will fit?

Is this 8.2 the worlds upgrade one ?

Also is there any word from associated with upgrades for the rc8tce i know it could use a few ?

When is it coming out and how much ?
This car uses the 8.2 suspension which is virtually the same as the World's Upgrade suspension.

As for upgrades for the RC8TCE, I haven't heard of any plans for anything.

The buggy should be out in November, and MAP price is $469.99.

Dam well i hope they will like i said there is a couple of upgrades the rc8tce could benefit from . Is there anything that could be used off the rc8b 8.2 that will fit and work on the rc8tce like the front sway bar ?

$469.99 is a exellent price

Darn you, AE!! Just when I thought I was all set with my 1/8th scale buggy collection, you have to come out with this. It looks far superior to the older model, which I didn't care for.

I may have to sell one of my cars and take a run at this.

I'd like to know this as well, especially since Chris mentioned there are no plans for an updated RC8T in the works.

I currently run this platform, from a converted 8.2, everything converts perfect, the motor mount looks awesome, this car is light years smoother than the rc8be, in regards to geometry, lightened up everything. I have let some other chassis sponsored competitors try it out, and I have got nothing but wow's and positive fast laps, this is an awesome car,,,

Bill at BCE Speed is working on a chassis for this too....

Default Front shock tower?

Hi Chris,

I have the conversion on my rc8 right now. What I was wondering is if the front shock tower that's included with the conversion kit the same as the tower that's in the new rc8.2e kit or is it the shorter tower like on the gas car? Please let us know, thanks!
