Charger questions

even at 100 watt i doubt it. i had a 100watt charger and while charging a 5 amps pack it would go in power input failure mode. called the company and i was told thats only good for a 2, maybe 3s pack. they told me to dial it back from 5 amps to 3.7 i did and it charged all day but it took 2 hours for one lipo. im on a same boat as the op. i have now 11 2s packs and im planning on running some as a 4s pack so i need one that chargers 2 lipos at full 6 amps at the same time as charging 1 by 1 will take a day

Read the specs very carefully. Even though a charger is rated at 400 or 500watts, you may need a power supply with adjustable voltage to get those specs.
For example a Hyperion EOS 1420i NET3-AD is rated at 550w, but in order to get that you need a 28v power supply.
Most standard power supllies run at 12 to 14v.

I just hooked up one of these. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...00WDUAL(1).jpg
I converted an older pc power supply. For free basically.
So for around $100, I can charge 2 batteries @ 10amps/200watts a piece, at the same time.
Warrranty? probably not. Cheap? heck yes.
Should be able to charge my 4s 5000's and my 2s 6000's at 1c at the same time.
As far as the 5amp/50watt chargers, My thunder ac6, which is 5a/50w, would only charge my 4s 5000 at 3.2. Just not enough power to go around.
I need to run 2 classes, and this set-up should get it done......cheaply
