Started with 50% worn Goosebumps rear and 75% wore m3 Bowties front on new carpet

after 10 months, now NEW m4 Calibers rear and NEW m3 Calibers front, PLUS sticky finger sause!!!!

Race carpet about every four months, was surprise how the carpet changed in 10 months. Carpet seems to have "fuzzed" more than the carpet on the onroad track 10 foot away (same carpet). May have been the "tread" style tires.

last year our local carpet track started testing the prolines street tires to make them the spec tire for the class. With some work, they'll grip ok. IMO, the stock sc10 tires work better. With the proline tires, they need brake cleaner to clean off the mold release. then scuffing them with 220 grit sandpaper will help as well. after all this I like sticky kicks roca in the early heats. Would be alot simpler to run sc10 tires but rules are rules.

Tell them they are fricken high & some dork on the inerawebs says so... Proline does not make a carpet tire rubber compound.

What whitzac stated is spot on, there is the list (or most of it ).
It is as good as it gets other than running a foam tire.

Shumacher mini pins and proline suburbs both hook up well on carpet.

I've had very good results with Duratrax Shotguns on the rear, stock tires on the front for carpet racing.

Also running a rear sway bar.

I race on carpet quite a bit.

If its a hot day, I love AKA Wishbones, Panther Switch or JC-Barcodes.

If its colder, I use Hole Shots or Enduros Rear with Blokades or Rebar front.

Allways stiffer Swaybars front and rear.

I use heavily sauced stock SC10 tires, but other people at my track run barcodes and anything mini pin with good results. Mini pins seem to be the hot ticket, but wear out REALLY quick.... My stockies work ok, but I run my suspension waaaaay softer than everyone else.
