Default ANY INFO?? 550 titan motor in stampede

Has anyone ran the 550 titan motor in a stampede? Is 8.4 volts enough?? How does it run without using the full 14 volts?? NEW MOTOR dont want to open it if it's not going to work......

It will run, but it will be pretty slow.

i run one in my sons rustler. it will work but you will need to use about a 25 tooth pinion top get some speed. as a low maintence motor goes it will be a good choice. but you also might want to consider a stinger if that is what you want.

Will an XL1 speed control handle more than 8.4 volts? I had a novak 5800 brushless but they don't live long offroad. I am looking for a dependable brushed motor with a lot of torque.
