Default Nitro Rustler 2.5 question...

Rustler 2.5 rear camber links...

I am pretty certain this would have been brought up before but I can't find it in a search so...

On the rear bulkhead on my Rustler, the camber links connect using long screws and spacers. This seems to be a really weak design...the screws bend and break for me. Have you guys addressed this and if so, how? Have you tried the standard ball ends and cups? Thanks for your help. I bought the truck in a box of used vehicles and want to restore it. It really flies and it doesn't even have good bearings!
