need help on elec 1/10 buggy

Angry need help on elec 1/10 buggy

I have a b4.1 with ko propo bsm 1.5 and thunder power 8.5 with 5000 mah 2 cell 40c and my radio is spectrum dx 3.0 when Im driving its find untill I get around 150 feet then I get nothing no steering or throttle what could it be batteries in radio are good please help!!

Low batteries can cause range issues , but I would look at your reciever first , make sure the antenna wire on the reciever isnt nicked or broken and make sure its fully extended (doesnt need to be outside the body).

It's your radio. I had the same issue with a Spektrum DX2.0. Spektrum are known to have pretty average range...

Had the same issue when I had spektrum dsm radio systems around my house. Wasn't sure if it was radio (tried 3 different ones with same issue), receiver (tried 4 diff ones) or interference from something around me. I switched to a FHSS radio and have never had the problem since.

what radio should I get that isnt to expensive or should i try a different receiver ?

IDK about all that ? My Spektrum DX3s can drive it at least 4-500 feet away without a problem , granted its hard to even tell which way its pointed at that distance ....

antenna. put it up the best you can.
