Will the midwinter be held at the RC Factory again or at the fairgrounds?

Find us a good driver in your area to run so we can consider sponsoring it.

Doug Lightcap has taken a vacation due to work, etc....

In Ohio right, I could make it up there for a race if needed. Will be able to get vacation time since its winter time from work.

It will be interesting to see if Doug is back racing again. Vacation probably means stepping away from the hobby temporarily due to personal issues, work issues, or just to take time off.

So is this thread for the CRCRC midwest race or is this "shootout" a different race? If this is the big CRCRC race you might want to change name of thread to get more interest.

I heard the CRCRC midwest race will also be held at the RC Factory again this year. Will be a great race on an awesome track. Looking forward to coming down there.

I would love to see the 1/8 electric buggy class with this weekend rather than the nitro weekend. I see the argument both ways. I am an electric only racer and enjoy the warmth and exhaust free races

If I remember correctly the entry forms didn't come out until around the end of September/early October last year. And Curt has been working on having an even better vent system than last year.

I agree 100% - they call them "electric" and "nitro" races but they're running electric cars with the nitros. If they keep running E-Scale with the nitro guys, they should rename the weekends to "1/10 scale" and "1/8 scale" since that would be more accurate.
