Some Questions about SC Trucks
I recently sold my 1/8th scale buggy to pick up a short course truck. I have enough to buy a new kit and I feel like there's a very limited selection.
SC10 4x4: looks incredibly complex and like a nightmare to build/maintain with all the screws. Plastic chassis, and limited motor breathing space.
Losi TenSCTE: Looks great, but the chassis looks nothing more than the 8ight I just sold.
Durango: Awesome looking truck. Parts are nowhere to be found locally.
OFNA: Old and nobody carries it or the parts anymore around here.
Slash4x4: Not happening.
So... You guys think there's going to be a new SC 4x4 anytime soon? or should I just settle with getting Losi? I'm really not that excited about it, but I miss running SC.

The Losi and Associated trucks are new this year so I wouldn't hold your breath for new offerings from them. Have you looked at the Jammin' truck?

Is Jammin coming out with a new one? or are you talking about the original jammin 4x4? It looks like a good setup, but there's no places around here that would carry parts for it.

Not really a LOT of parts that you need to carry, it doesn't break too much (my experience, been racing it almost 2 years and have broken 2 parts).
It is very upgradeably and is fun to drive. Unless your going to be driving it crazy, then parts may be an issue.
If you have your heart set on a 4X4 this is the one to get.
FYI: There are always some in the for sale section

losi is a heavy tank, same old 1/8 design, durable and safe choice , drives like an 1/8
AE is much easier to work on than I thought while building it. it is VERY durable and drives like a touring car, can run normal OR saddle pack batteries. I have no motor temp issues and I have run 5.5 540 can and a 4.5 550 can
Druango is fast but not so durable, amainhobbies has all the parts with quick shipping, you need saddle packs, so if you already have batteries......
the others are for bashing
