3s that will fit where a 2s does?

I'm looking for a 3s lipo with the same dimensions as a standard 5000mah 2s stick pack. Are there any recommended ones from hobbyking/hobbypartz? What is the highest capacity available in this format?

just go and look. Take your dimensions and compare. There is more than one that will fit but you are gonna have to do the work :) Depending on your battery tray you may be able to run a taller batt.

Intellect 11.1v 3300mah fits in a Tamiya DF03..

Best to research this one yourself. Just keep in mind you only need about 3300 mah to match the capacity of a 5000 2S pack. You'll have an additional cell's worth of juice. Also, higher voltage is more efficient.

This battery is the same size as the typical 5000 mAHr 2S pack:

I have found it to be excellent. It is also available with a Deans plug.
