Post Castle Short Course System question?

Alright what pitch pinion does it need for the motor? Also what is a good starting point for pinion choice(teethwise) for a track that has medium traction in the day and at night it has plenty of traction!

Thanks guys and gals.

These are questions that can not be answered. Pitch largely depends on your spur, as does number of teeth, as well as the vehicle, final drive ratio, kv of the motor, etc..

I usually go from stock and start there. When I first got my Sidewinder SCT, I went from running in dirt to the asphalt one afternoon and promptly stripped my 88T spur that came stock with the XXX-SCB. I left the pinion stock but put an 86T Kevlar spur gear on it as recommended by the owner of my LHS. Has worked great ever since. Plenty of torque and speed and the motor and ESC stay at a good temp.
