Default Why Your Girlfriend Hates RC

This applies to electric and nitro, on-road and off-road. If it's RC, chances are your girlfriend or wife may not like it.

Read my blog & let me know what you think:

This Is Why Your Girlfriend/Wife Hates RC...Do You Agree?

I dig the blog, and I'm glad to say that my girlfriend likes RC. She has a losi sct (I bought for her) with the tlr tuning kit and a 3800kv Sidewinder (that she bought for herself because she wanted to go faster) and its not unusual for me to get home from work only to find her out in the back yard racing laps around our track.

When my wife complains about my rc (which in the grand scheme I don't spend that much on, even am only racing one car presently), I tell her to pay her own bills then.

Argument over.

My wife hates my RCs, but tolerates them. As the blog correctly mentions, RC pretty much takes up an entire day when I go racing, so she feels ignored.

I just let her know instead of hanging out at the track, I could blow my money on hookers and coke. Maybe instead of 1/8th scale I will go buy a real sports car. My neighbor has a Porsche. Then I start talking about buying a motorcycle. Seems to make her see the better side of RC as a hobby.

My girlfriend doesnt mind them but I could never see her liking it enough to drive/race one.

PS.....I'm thinking girlfriends tolerate RC, wives hate RC!

hey

yer easier just to not have a gf

lol a lot of my mates who have gf or wife

yes some of them at the track saying you re not spending any more money while they are wearing the 600 dollars shoes and 400 dollar hand bag lol

but suppose its the way you put it lol going my rc only cost you as much what you wearing on you ton

i think that some gf or wife no matter what you're hobby just want to see you miserable anything you enjoy they have to crush you hence why no gf most try to control everything you do

When anyone asks "how much does that cost" concerning rc cars and racing I usually tell them that rc can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. I tell them spend as much as you feel comfortable with as long as your having fun... I have seen kids racing TL01's they have maybe $250 invested in the whole race set-up that had way more fun than guys who had $20,000 invested in RC!!

You think RC is expensive... try cocaine.... I always told my ex-wife at least it's not drugs or alcohol....
