I heard this buggy is due out really soon. I guess this will be the first Atomik branded product?

Well, if they come out with a trf-like buggy with big bores at $100 less than a Tamiya then they are already half way there.

They then just need good quality and parts support. Most racers want to know that they can get parts locally or in a reasonable fashion. I recently with a Kyosho SP2 and would not have done so a few years back. However, since Kyosho has committed to the US market and my local track (WCRC) stocks K parts I was comfortable with the purchase.

Durango is awesome looking and perfoms well. I've seen on average one DEX210 at WCRC when there are 40+ different 2wd buggy drivers. My guess is parts supply is the issue.

Venom seems to be responsive and communicative with the local RC community. They should seed the community by getting their cars and parts to LHS/Local race tracks and talking to guys like Danny at WCRC.
