Is anyone trimming or noticing flashing inside the case, either the R motor or M motor case? Thinking I might shave it down. also noticing I still seem to have a high spot when the trans spins around, did anyone else?

Who has a mid motor setup?

what papa said, idler shaft is a touch too long. i still haven't shaved mine down yet. i just didn't crank down on the gearbox case screws.
the "high" spot goes away after break in.

i'm using an ae spur/ae pads but stock atomik plates.

Guys, quick question again:

I am assuming to run mid-motor, I need to have a shorty pack. What about rear-motor? Can I run a standard sized pack?

yes. in rear motor you can run all three, regular, shorty and saddle.
in mid you can run shorty and saddle.

it's a cool car, it's not perfect but it's a solid option.

i'd take it over a trf due to price, and cool factor. the shocks are really nice on the atomik. i'm digging it for sure.

Anybody have some tips building the CVD's? Could use a little help. They just aren't going together smooth at all?

Just about done but I gotta go to work. I think I have it all figured out, maybe. I'm hoping to get a little practice this Sunday.

I worked at them for a while this morning. I am hoping they loosen up after the first run.
