Pretty hit or miss around me, even for indoor in the winter. The way things look 4x4 SCT isn't going to make it any better this year either. I like both 2wd and 4wd SCT but would rather run my wheeler..

I haven't seen one, but am told some people have them. I'm too new to know if they were ever popular around here. It would be my next vehicle if I didn't think I'd be the only one bringing them out.

There looks like a good turn out of them at the Nationals this weekend even without the Losi team running the class.

I wish the class would pick up around Georgia. I would rather run 2wd buggy, Stadium "racing" trucks, and 4wd buggy than SCT, 4wd SCT and 2wd buggy.

4WD buggy has become one of my favorite classes to run. It has just started picking up here in north alabama but few by few they are showing up.
The key to helping a class get started is to have the car at the track and ready to race even if you don't plan to run it that day. Everybody says "oh well i got one at home but didn't know anybody else had one" Well if everybody would just bring it to the track then if 4 or 5 people wanted to race...Waaa Laaa. you got a race!

My question to this and other similar statements, is why were they once popular but are not now?

I'm too new to RC to totally understand. Do people just get bored with certain types of vehicles and toss 'em in a closet or sell 'em? So, then the holdouts don't have anybody to race with.

Is that what goes on?

Here's my project..hope to hit the track soon. I will run her until TLR releases a new 4wd.
4wd turn out is no existent here, but I know they're out there. So I hope to get folks to dust em off in my area and bring em out.

Heres some pics of my FT B44. Has all the .1 upgrades minus the chassis. I run a LRP TC SPEC v2 with and x12 9.5. Battery is a Reedy 5200 mAh 60 c. Servo is a JR 9000S. Car is BALLLLLLLISTIC FAST!!!! Guys at the track get quiet when I go down the long front straight because they think it sounds like a jet spooling up and taking off, no gear crunch, no bearing crunch, just the sound of LRP POWER!!! I love this car, it's just so smooth.

Any ways... Enough of me rambling on about it... Heres some pics.

Hope you guys like them.

Our local indoor track (Smactrack) usually has a decent amount. I think it is similar to what was said above.. Bring them just in case and it can start to grow and/or stay healthy.

I dont think its people getting board, its people wanting to run whats new and popular, so they have others to race with too.

I have my orgional 10T from 1992, and a T4. 2wd was popular for a while, then 4wd was popular when the B44 came out, then SC became popular when the slash came out. 8th buggy is still popular, heavy change from nitro to electric. Truggy was big for a while, now it seems to be 4wd SC.

I stopped running a B44, as the local track was more set up for 8th buggies, then when I bought an sc truck, the track was still set up for 8th buggies, so I bought a truggy, now the track is more sc and 10th 4wd friendly.

Eventually it all comes back around. Buy what you like the best, and dont worry about what everyone else is running. Its less expensive that way
