Not sure about that. I'm no pro and have no desire to be one. I also don't think the other 80% of racers like me can be called everyone else.

If the 22t is as well tested a the 22, I'll pass and wait for the 22t 2.0

I find it hilarious that Tread thinks he knows what he's talking about here...

That's all I'm going to say.

They haven't blown the doors off in sales... Although the strike was a flop and the XXX-SCT is a pretty capable truck. They don't really need to replace it yet. The XXX-T CR is discontinued and needs replace. Makes better sence at this time.
They havent sold much because they arent all that great in performance but from what people have seen in the 22 they are bound to buy the 22SCT because it will handle better and has stronger parts, as well as the mid or rear config option.

Gonna have to disagree here for the same reason that people buy into the 'stock was made for beginner' philosophy. Manufacturers develope products for one reason - profit. Period. If they don't, they don't survive. Consumers are who/what turn vehicle types into racing classes and dictate their participation. To date, all racing classes have followed the same cycle; but that is for another thread.

I would love to see some new TLR models in the field (ala 22T, SC22 and 44). I think these would generate interest in their respective segments and increase participation.

Or maybe they did that just to have enough to fill out a class?

Who knows the last time this was even updated, but look at the mod truck class. Only 13 people are paid right now??http://www.roarracing.com/national_r....php?raceid=17

So basically their almost 3x more people in 2wd Mod Short Course. If that list is correct it is not even worth giving that class a b main.

who really cares about the ST vs SCT debate...

For those of us who actually race ST the idea of a 22T sounds promising!
I would entertain the idea of a new truck, but it would have to be worth it for me to ditch an already proven truck!

Rc cars are for childrens...and its obvious in this thread. Talk buggies in buggy threads, talk sct in sct threads and so on, its quite simple.

I like trucks and i think its great Losi is putting a new one out, i will race trucks even if there aint no class to race in.

As far as getting back on topic, there is no topic. There is absolutely no information on this theoretical 22T anywhere on the interwebs. So exactly what do you want to read in this "on topic" thread? 100 people saying it would be cool if a 22T was released because they would buy it in a second? Mixed in with another 100 people who say they wouldnt buy it until it was a proven improvement over their current truck? Because thats all you will get for the next week or so until something is actually leaked or released about the truck.... If it even exists at all.

So yes, lets please stay on topic.... But if (when) the 22T does get released, LOSI! please have a list of parts ready to convert it to the SCT for the rest of us.
