TLR 22T Thread

I don't see a need to make a 2.0. Just re-continue production of the original truck. I entered my 22T in one of the biggest races in my state, with several heats of trucks, every brand's truck you could think of from AE to Xfactory to TLR to Kyosho, and some damn fast sponsored drivers in the field. My 22T had old bearrings that were about to fall apart, the shocks hadn't been rebuilt in at least 1 year, and the diff was almost shot. I never checked the ride-heights, camber or nothing, just threw it on the track. There wasn't a single truck in the field that could run with my 22T. I reset TQ every round and held TQ by a lap. Choked in the main, but that was my own fault. So the old truck is PLENTY competitive. That I can testify.

Kinda totally agree after today. Ran a very fast and consistent race in mid-Motor 13.5 against a very, very fast and consistent AE guy and another rear motor 22T. Race was neck and neck with all three of us until the AE guy hit a pipe and popped a ball cup. The TLR guy, don't know what happened. The AE guy always wins with his T4.2. Was a very good race neck and neck, until he piped it and flipped but landed wheels down, but I will still won by 4/ 10ths of a second. A kit with Bellcranks. All it needs. Make it happen TLR, there is a huge buzz at the track about the T5M, many have already pre-ordered it.

Watched Cav race his T5M today at the medwest Nats here in ohio. and the truck looked good. But Tebo in his Rt6 looked faster and smoother. and there wasn't any big guys to represent TLR at this race....

They don't run truck at the mid-west champs. Wonder what Mayfield could do with a 22T??? Here is to 2wheel drive becoming a bashed class again and the T5M to sell like hotcakes somTLR has to do something. Serpent ST is right around the corner, T5M next month. I love my truck the way it is, and have put enough into it to make it an awesome truck my or rear motor. It's time for it to be re-released with Bellcranks. The upside is the the first time in over a year there are pit tips for thb22T with regards to the rar wing issue, and it works well.

Installed the square battery in mm setup to see if the extra weight would help over the shorty I was running. With green F, white R springs truck felt smoother more controllable felt a lazy when trying to push hard. I put in blue F yellow R spring and this really helped. Lap times between the two where really close.
