I'm very happy with mine, I have updated the shocks and running the exotech steering. For a new kit I'm not sure how they would improve it. Maybe a 3 gear tranny for those running 17.5 MM

Oh and maybe side pods and battery mount that let you run shorty battery side ways

This was discussed in the 22 thread. It would require a complete redesign of the drivetrain of the truck to work. When I ran for Durango and tried the 3 gear mm setup, did not like it at all. I agree that the truck in its current form is very good. Just too heavy for stock. Maybe a good milling out of the chassis to lighten it up.

You can try softer front spring. A little more front camber (go to 2 deg). Lower the front ride height a little.
Driving a 2wd vs a 4wd car is different. 2wd will be a little bit more of a handful as you don't have all wheel drive to get you out of trouble but give some of those tweaks a try and see if it gives you what you are looking for. Does not sound like it was too far off to take a big swing at it.

Today I finally got to try out this change - 6 months later (I've been a bit busy and only got to the track 2 days since July). I dropped the front ride height by 2mm (to 27mm) and it made all the difference! Suddenly there was a lot faster turn-in. I haven't tried the camber or spring changes yet.
As the turn in seems quite sudden, I think I might dial it out a little with Expo.
Thanks again, and this is what I always tell my friends about the Losi/TLR products - you drivers frequent the thread and are so willing to help out with some pro tips!
