I read that TRA3643 Traxxas Camber Link Turnbuckles 49mm are a direct fit. I myself just got a 22T and bought a set. They still aren't to my house but they were worth a shot for 5 bucks.

So my wing got broken off last night. Is there a direct replacement for it or do you guys just make your own our of scrap. If I do leave it off what will I loose or gain in performance?

Found them, called wings not spoilers for these. Still curious on my other questions.

They do affect performance. You would think not so much but they do help with down force for stock and modfied.

For anyone else looking for them.

These spares are thicker than the stock ones as well so they last longer.

I usually make mine out of scrap lexan and bend it upward,... they make replacements that you can buy on LApartshouse.com. Instead of screwing them on the upward slant in the rear of the body I usually screw them down on the flat part of the body before the rear upward slant begins, I found them to last longer in this position. The jconcepts finnisher body has this design implemented on their 22t body

No. Your separate thread you asked in has already covered it. Not advisable at all.

Do not leave it off, the worst mistake that you can make is assuming that this is just a part added for looks.
Rc cars/trucks are researched and developed much the same as full scale racing and all the parts are there for a reason....especially rear wings .
Leaving your wing off is like running slicks on a clay track.

The diff is not there to be a pain it is there to help the truck turn. If you lock the diff you will get great forward bite but the truck will push off the truck. It will not turn at all.

Questions?? 22T Wind Down Noise?

Hi,

Just tested the 22T and it all seemed good except after an hour or so there seemed to be a whine/noise when letting off the throttle. Just wondering if this is normal? The motor is a 10.5T sensored brushless motor, and it is my first time running a ball diff arrangement. My SCTE is noisy, but that's just gear meshing.

Anyway, here's a video with the noise when the throttle is released, any suggestions as to whether this is normal or what the problem (more importantly the solution ) might be? Thanks in advance!
