The RTR caps have a bleed screw so its easier to run emulsion style shocks. Very similar to the AE shock caps.

The RTR plastic caps have bleeder screws and come with orings. The stock aluminum caps do not have bleeders and come with bladders.

+1, For those of you that want to run emulsion style shocks instead of the stock bladder type.

check those bearings in the idler... mine were falling apart after only 2nd day of racing. may have gotten a bad batch cuz no one else had that problem.

Just finished my 22T kit tonight, took just under 4 hours. Build went very smooth, helps to build a 22 just a week before. The turnbuckles were so much more easy this time, reamed them out a tiny bit and put black grease on them, threaded super smooth and easy.

Can't wait to hit the track *hopefully* this weekend....Need white wheels though!!

what gearing are you guys running with 17.5 motors? the 28/82 the book calls for is all that will fit on the stock 82 gear. Is there a smaller spur available?

or is anyone else even running stock class?

I plan on running a 17.5 even though the stock stadium truck class is almost dead here. Or go with a 13.5 and run mod with it, not sure yet. If I wanna run mod I may just wait for the 22T RTR. Of course if I had more money I would go with 2 trucks one for mod and another one for stock. I know I'll pick up the RTR first and then later on get a kit! That way I know what goes where and can look at it for reference. Just want to thank Losi for a fine truck thats got me excited that's not a shortcourse truck. Of course if Losi does come out with the 22SCT, I'll be first in line! LOL!

Is there any reason you couldn't run AE spurs and slipper pads?

Yeah why would you want to put AE parts on your TLR!

Those bolt right on. TLR/Losi sells spurs that get you down into the gear range you need to be in so no need to go the AE route anymore.
