Default The best SCT Foams

Where in the Sam Hill do you even get foams for Sct wheels and tires? Im at my wits end. The blue closed cell are junk, they flatten out after a couple of races.I just want a nice hard foam like a bomb 1 that you can use for SC.A link would be forever appreciated. Also what are the best ones?

you just use 1/8 buggy foams.

The aka reds are my current favorite.

Now, if you have a traxxas, or HPI, with stock wheels, and you'll need those silly little supplemental foam rings, otherwise, 1/8 is the same foam for SC, the side wall is built into the rubber on the tire Unless your tire is jconcepts (for whatever reason they do that)

You are in luck- Trinity makes a Bomb 1 for sc tires in soft and firm. I recommend the firms as the softs are like not having a foam at all. They are my all around favorite, though in very high grip conditions I still prefer a harder closed cell foam.

If you are using HotBodies SCT tires, you'll need to find Proline V3 1/8th scale inserts. AKA and normal or V2 proline inserts are way too narrow and won't fill the tire side to side.
