Default Starter Box Question

LAST NIGHT,I WAS CHARGING MY BOX(OFNA BOX WITH CROME TOP)AND THE IT WAS NOT CHARGING...I TOOK THE 12V CELL OUT AND PUT A NEW ONE IN..COULD IT THATTHE 12V BATT IS DEAD,NO MOR GOOD?HELP!

They are, as long as they're cared for properly and not abused.

Some things just fail prematurely...there's nothing anyone can do about it.

How should we care for these type of batteries? Luckily, I haven't had any problems with mine. And at least these batts are pretty cheap.

It's really nothing hard..you can charge them with a simple wall charger or an automotive battery charger.

Don't short it out and don't drop it repeatedly. They need to be used regularly (can't let them sit for 6 months at a time) or they'll go bad.

some of them you can deep cycle for longer life.

when you put the new batt in, did it solve the problem? if so, how old was the old batt?

I can hook my tekin charger leads directly to the motor leads and push the charge button. That thing will start anything! A power supply has no voltage drop, so my starter wheel spins like crazy! and no batteries required....although I still have some incase it is in use at the moment I need it.
