Default barcodes....GOLD VS GREEN SC

Has anyone run these tires back to back on a high bite clay surface? I have run the green compound and seem to work well...the Golds are listed for indoor clay....I just picked them up and they dont FEEL as sticky or soft. I know theres more to it then the feel in the hand... Just looking for others results.. thanks!

Gold is not as soft but on the surfaces where it works, it works better than anything else. Usually these work best on packed, moist indoor surfaces, similar to Losi Pink compound.

At my local track I find the gold works best when the track is new/moist, then the blue or green works better when the track ages and dries out.

Gold works at turtletrax; if that's what you're looking for.

Green works all the time.

Gold, the dirt has to be uber clean, perfectly damp and med/high bite (borderline slick if you walked on the track). No high surface temps; 80deg. or below.

If you want something in between try StickyKicks

The track I run on is moist and soft clay...soft meaning a little spongey when you walk on it...its pretty clean and many are using slicks... Just want to try the golds....been on the greens so far and havent made the slick jump just yet. Thanks fellers!

That sounds like a perfect track for Gold or Pink. I'm surprised green works well on that.

The greens arent bad...the guys Im running with are running slicks and say they feel pretty nailed down. I havent driven their trucks. Right now Im hanging with them and I can tell Im a bit "on top of" the track compared to them out of the corners.Im working on my set up and figure that if I can get the truck as good as I can and be a little loose adding more traction later should only help. Im an ex racer from the late 80s and 90s and have the local quick guys wondering who I am! haha I think they assume I just walked in! Thanks again for the tips....practice tomorrow night. Ill start on the greens to get a good feel and then make the change to the golds.
