HB tyre compounds:
Pink compound is extra-soft for maximum traction at the cost of tread life.
Red compound is soft for racing or low-traction surfaces.
White compound is medium, great for practice and all-around use.
Blue compound is firm for high-bite tracks.
Pink compound is extra-soft for maximum traction at the cost of tread life.

I realize the all the different companies are doing their own thing and all the rubber types they use are different from one brand to another, but I wish they could all get together and use the same color codes for their compounds. I don't care if super softs are blue, green, red, pink, purple, camo, chrome or what. Just make em all the same! It would make life a little easier for club guys that don't use one brand of tire all the time.
